Warranty & Repair

Bexley strives to create products of outstanding quality, and wants you to be satisfied with your Bexley writing instrument.  Our warranty policy is: All products manufactured by the Bexley Pen Company, Inc. are warranted to the original registered owner, for normal use, against defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the product, provided any service is done by an authorized Bexley Service Technician.  This warranty specifically excludes normal wear and tear, intentional misuse, abuse, neglect, accidental breakage, or product loss.

When you purchase a new Bexley product, it is important that you complete the enclosed registration certificate, and mail it to Bexley so that you are recorded as the "original registered owner" for warranty purposes.

What To Do If You Have Repair Work

Print out the form below on your computer's printer. Fill out the required information and send the form with the pen using the shipping instructions at the bottom of the form. Download the repair order form here.

There is no repair charge for work that Bexley deems to be covered by warranty. However, there is a $10.00 charge for return shipping to U.S. addresses via priority mail with delivery confirmation. Any other method requested will be quoted upon request.

Return shipping to any address outside the U.S. must be quoted in advance, so please contact us before returning your item. All payments must be made via check in U.S. dollars and drawn on a U.S. Bank. Foreign banks are not permitted. In some instances we may accept Pay Pal.

There is a $25 fee to exchange your undamaged nib for another fine, medium, or broad nib.  (If you would like to have a custom nib (e.g. an italic nib), we recommend that you consider John Mottishaw or Richard Binder who specialize in this work.  John's website address is www.nibs.com, Richard's website is www.richardspens.com).

If new parts are required for non-warranty work, we will contact you with a quote for these repairs before we do the work.

We ask that you do the following when you make a repair shipment to Bexley:
1) Empty any ink from the pen and rinse off the nib with cold water.
2) Wrap your pen so that it will not be damaged during shipment, and put it in a small, sturdy
cardboard box. (It is not necessary to return it in the original packaging.)
3) Include this Repair Form, fully filled out.
4) Include a check or money order for $10.00, payable to Bexley Pen Company, to cover return
shipping and insurance.
5) We recommend that you insure the package for the full replacement value, and ship it in a
manner that lets you track the delivery (USPS Delivery confirmation, UPS, FedEx, etc.).
